Mechanical Contract Manager

Job Location - Walsall

Salary - 55K plus Package

Company - Dodd Group (Midlands)

Dodd Group (Midlands) are looking for a Mechanical Contract Manager to assist with the delivery of their various Contracts within the West & East Midlands. Previous experience within the Social Housing sector, gas heating installations & ASHP would be advantageous.

The Mechanical Contract Manager provides leadership and is responsible for (although not limited to):

Management and leadership of the labour on site and the site management Ensuring site safety is maintained. Overseeing productivity of the Sub-Contractors and directly employed Staff. Keeping up with their own workload and productivity on site and in the office. Quality control Solving issues that arise on site in a calm and measured way. Reporting directly to the Senior Contract Manager. Build and maintain a good working relationship with the client and merchants. Attend monthly client meetings.
As a key participant in the relationship with the Company, Sub-Contractors and the Client.

The Mechanical Contract Manager has specific areas of responsibility (although not limited to):

Keeping in communication with the Senior Contract Manager / Site supervisor / office Staff and the client. The Mechanical Contract Manager will be responsible for programming, assigning tasks to the Directly Employed Staff and Sub-Contractors. Maintaining work standards on site through liaising with site supervisor. Prioritising work to ensure smooth delivery of the project.

The Following is required.

A full UK Driving License. In date ACS SMSTS (would be advantageous). IT Literate including an understanding of Excel. Good communication and people skills
