Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the Aldershot area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking a capable Design Engineer to join develop engineering and assembly drawings for machinery.
Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview

Design bespoke mechanical assemblies and systems using Autodesk Inventor (preferred), producing accurate 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
Carrying out load calculations and structural analysis
Specifying components including bearings and motors
Working closely with electrical, production and control engineering teams
Supporting the assembly, testing and commissioning of machines
Maintain technical documentation and create bill of materials

Mechanical Design Engineer Job Requirements

HND or degree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering related subject
Practical experience within a Design Engineering role
Proficient with 3D modelling software such as Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor
Based in a commutable distance of Aldershot

Mechanical Design Engineer Salary & Benefits

Starting salary 25,000 - 35,000 depending upon experience
Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
Holiday allowance and pension
