We are seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our tech.

This position is ideal for an engineer with a solid foundation in CAD design, manufacturing readiness, and a passion for solving complex mechanical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:




As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between concept and production. Your responsibilities will include:




Design Development: Create and refine mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools, with a strong emphasis on manufacturability and performance. Production Readiness: Translate mature design concepts into detailed engineering drawings that meet production standards and timelines. Standards Compliance: Conduct thorough drawing checks to ensure alignment with BS 8888, ASME, and internal engineering standards. Problem Solving: Address and resolve component-level design issues, implementing revisions efficiently while maintaining design integrity. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and R&D to ensure seamless integration of designs into the production pipeline.

Preferred Experience & Skills:




We're looking for candidates who bring a combination of technical expertise and practical experience, ideally including:




Industry Experience: Prior work in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, or other complex mechanical systems. CAD Proficiency: Strong skills in Siemens NX for 3D modeling and Teamcenter for data management. Technical Standards: Deep understanding of mechanical drawing standards and best practices for engineering documentation. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to design validation and documentation, ensuring high-quality outputs.
