Mechanical Engineer in Edinburgh

What you'll be doing

Leading the mechanical design of major data centre projects across Europe Working hands?on with cutting?edge technologies in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and energy modelling Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best?in?class solutions Guiding clients through design decisions while ensuring efficiency, sustainability and resilience
?

What you'll bring

Experience in

mechanical building services design

, ideally within mission?critical sectors (data centres, healthcare, high?tech manufacturing) Strong knowledge of

thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and energy modelling

Proficiency with design tools such as

Revit, AutoCAD, IES VE

and

CFD simulation software

Proven ability to

lead complex projects

and coordinate multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills and a

client?focused mindset

Chartered Engineer

status (or actively working towards it) with a recognised institution such as

CIBSE or IMechE
