Job Description

Fan Systems Group is seeking a full-time Mechanical Designer to join our team in Halifax. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong design skills and a passion for design. This individual will be responsible for the design of existing standards, as well as the development of new products and processes.

Duties include:

Designing new products and processes Collaborating with other teams to develop new products and processes Working with customers to understand their needs and designing products to meet those needs Working with our manufacturing facility to ensure that designs are manufactured in a way that meets customer specifications Developing product documentation including CAD files, drawings, specifications, etc.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering design. Strong design skills in AutoCAD, Inventor/solidworks. Strong understanding of engineering design methods.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
