The successful candidate will be responsible for technical items pertaining to mechanical design services. These include but are not limited to; Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water systems, above ground drainage systems. The candidate will produce technical drawings for the above, mechanical system schedules, report writing and specifications.
They should be open to mentoring of other team members and working collaboratively across MEP activities. They will also be required to attend meetings, in person or virtually and be Client facing.
The successful candidate should have good understanding of the Microsoft office platform (excel, word, outlook etc.) Should have experience in carrying out thermal modelling and pipe and duct sizing calculations using software (IES Virtual Environment, MEP Worx etc.) Have knowledge and understanding of working in the 3D environment - i.e. Revit - and be able to coordinate design items as part of the team
They should be a member of a professional institution and be working towards or have gained Chartership status (IMechE / CIBSE etc.) On site experience and knowledge of installation methods is preferable.
