Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and lead the creation and development of innovative mechanical components and systems across various sectors. In this role, you will use CAD software to model designs, conduct simulations, refine prototypes, and collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and suppliers to deliver practical, safe, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.? Analyze performance with engineering tools like Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).? Refine designs to meet safety standards, performance goals, and budget constraints.? Develop, test, and evaluate prototypes to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement.? Collaborate across teams to ensure project requirements are met and documented accurately.? Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings and bills of materials.? Research new technologies and materials to enhance design innovation and efficiency.? Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards throughout the design process.?
Essential Skills

Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software for modelling and documentation.? Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including stress analysis and thermodynamics.? Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.? Ability to manage and organize multiple design projects from concept through to production.? Familiarity with regulatory standards, quality assurance, and risk mitigation strategies.?
