Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
M&E Design Manager
to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with client requirements, regulations, and industry best practices. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of M&E services into our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the M&E design process across multiple projects.
Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure design intent is achieved.
Review and approve technical submissions, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and sustainability requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during installation and commissioning.
Identify and mitigate design risks and resolve technical issues.
Lead design meetings and workshops, ensuring timely delivery of design information.
Support value engineering initiatives and contribute to cost-effective design solutions.
Requirements
Proven experience as an M&E Design Manager or similar role within the building services industry.
Strong background in new build residential schemes; commercial experience is a plus.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Excellent understanding of building services design, regulations, and construction processes.
Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
