At The Ex Zone we design and manufacture hazardous area control systems to companies all over the world. We have been established since 2003 and offer a first class bespoke service to our clients. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Manager to join our growing team.

We are looking for an individual who can stream line our enclosure business and also progress some product development.

Mechanical Design Engineer Manager: Responsibilities

Mechanical project development of bespoke sheet metal electrical enclosures, support frames and bespoke bracketry Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation (i.e. drawings, specifications, final documents etc) Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external contractors to ensure project alignment and compliance. Manage projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget. Ensure accurate record-keeping of design changes, approvals, and certifications Writing of specifications if required Continually improve and help optimise workflow

Mechanical Design Engineer Manager: Requirements

Diploma, University degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and a proficiency in electrical design would be beneficial. Minimum 1 year using Solid works Mechanical to an advanced level Confident liaison with external assessors and consultants Team player, dependable and efficient
