The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer who possesses a unique combination of foundational mechanical engineering education from China, practical industry experience, and postgraduate qualifications from a UK university. In this role, you will play a key part in the product development lifecycle and act as a technical link between our local teams and international standards.

Requirements

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognised Chinese university. A Master's or PhD degree from a UK university.

Professional Experience:

A minimum of two years' hands-on experience in mechanical design, with a demonstrable track record of independently delivering successful projects. Proficiency in industry-standard CAD/CAE software (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, Abaqus).

Language Skills:

Full professional proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective technical collaboration and documentation.

Desirable Qualifications

Demonstrated experience across the full product development lifecycle - including design, prototyping, testing, validation, and manufacturing. Practical knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), dynamics simulation, or composite materials. Experience working within multicultural or global teams, with strong interpersonal and coordination skills. A passion for innovation, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Pay: 29,000.00-56,000.00 per year
