White Label are proud to be working on an exclusive basis with leading engineering business based in the Gainsborough area in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer due to increase of orders and team growth.

The Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing concept ideas and taking them through to full design and production.
• Creating manufacturing and assembly drawings using Autodesk Inventor (or similar CAD software).
• Producing technical documentation, including technical files, parts lists, and spares lists.
• Assisting the sales team by creating detailed customer layout drawings.
• Designing solutions that meet the requirements of various industry standards.

The Person:

• A minimum HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of design experience, ideally in:

• Special-purpose machinery
• Conveyors or mechanical/material handling equipment
• Automated machinery or heavy engineering

• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or similar design software (e.g., SolidWorks, SolidEdge).
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 (DOE).
• Working Hours (Flexible)
• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
• Friday: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm (early finish).
