Mechanical Design Engineer to work within our team.

Key Responsibilities

Design innovative Robotic Automation handling systems, Produce detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and rendered visuals to communicate designs effectively Cross-functional collaboration from sales concept through to final finished product. Develop full technical documentation including specifications, risk assessments, BOMs, 2D part & assembly drawings, schematics etc. Apply DFM (Design for Manufacture) and DFA (Design for Assembly) best practice Establish PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) best practices for version control. (a Work closely with electrical design & commissioningteams to ensure seamless integration Partner with suppliers to maintain quality standards and production readiness Contribute to product validation and compliance testing

What We're Looking For

Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline 2+ years' experience in mechanical design. Proficiency with Inventor (or equivalent CAD software). Desirable knowledge of the 2006/42/EC machinery directive Knowledge of machined components welded fabrications &. experience in sheet metal. Strong knowledge of materials, Geometric dimensioning & tolerances and fastening systems. Proven ability to create accurate documentation and production packages with attention to detail Experience managing projects end-to-end, including customer & supplier engagement and production oversight Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team
