Due to recent expansion, we are looking for a
Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our team in Telford. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in
developing innovative automation solutions
, shaping product designs, and contributing to bespoke machine guarding layouts.
About the Role
This position is ideal for an
enthusiastic and technically skilled
individualwho thrives on innovation. Whether refining existing designs or developing new solutions, you'll bring
strong CAD expertise
(ideally Autodesk Fusion or SolidWorks), an in-depth understanding of technical drawings and engineering processes, and a keen eye for detail in technical documentation.
Your Key Responsibilities
Design & Develop
our range of
robot auxiliary axes, positioners, grippers, roller doors, and guarding solutions.
Create accurate 3D models and detailed technical drawings
for product manufacturing.
Collaborate with specialist suppliers
to source newly designed components and assemblies.
Compile comprehensive BOMs
and maintain precise technical records for ourMRP systems.
Develop scheme models and drawings
for sales proposals and quotations.
Generate high-quality 3D renders and graphics
for technical documentation and marketing.
Assist in crafting user manuals and installation guides
to support product implementation.
