Who are we?

At The Ex Zone we design and manufacture hazardous area control systems to companies all over the world. We have been established since 2003 and offer a first class bespoke service to our clients. We are currently looking for an Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team.

We are looking for an individual who can stream line our enclosure business and also progress some product development.

Mechanical Design Engineer Manager : Responsibilities

Mechanical project development of bespoke sheet metal electrical enclosures, support frames and bespoke bracketry Generation and upkeep of project specific documentation (i.e. drawings, specifications, final documents etc) Liaison with production staff, clients, suppliers, auditors, and test laboratories at all levels Writing of specifications if required Continually improve and help optimise workflow Attend weekly production meetings

Design Engineer: Requirements

Diploma, University degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and a proficiency in electrical design would be beneficial. Minimum 1 year using Solid works Mechanical to an advanced level Confident liaison with external assessors and consultants Team player, dependable and efficient
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 40,000.00 per year
