Project involves design and development of Mechanical Handling and Cylinder Storage Equipment located within a new-build facility.
Develop 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
Daily Duties:
3D design and detailing using Autodesk Inventor
Design of structural steel equipment such as stillages, cradles, stacking blocks etc. for the storage of large process cylinders
Design of storage solutions for sample bottles such as racks, storage arrays etc. within rooms
Design of mechanical handling equipment such as an overhead crane, jibs & hoists, rail transporter etc. which can be used for visual purposes and be integrated into the BIM Model of the facility
Skills and Experience:
Expert in the use and knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
Experience in developing 3D models using steel components
Experienced in material selection and thickness for structural purposes
Experience in producing GA drawings
