Job Description

Join a leading construction and engineering company on a high-profile project in Swindon. You'll produce detailed mechanical drawings and designs for generators and power distribution equipment, supporting system development through build, testing, and qualification.
Key Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed AutoCAD / SolidWorks drawings.
• Lead mechanical design of equipment and supporting structures.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate on design reviews and configuration management.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in design engineering.
• Strong background in generator and power distribution systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Familiar with MOD and Defence Standards.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes for high-spec equipment.
