Mechanical & Electrical Fitter (Multi-Skilled) Possible earnings 45,000 pa

Fuel Proof Ltd, Fuel tank manufacturer with massive company growth Mechanical & Electrical Fitter needed to join Assembly team on-site Permanent role at our manufacturing and assembly facility

Full-time permanent role at Fuel Proof Ltd, Heysham, Lancashire LA3. Growing company with 16,000+ global customers in construction, aviation, agriculture, industry, rail, mining, civil engineering and more.

Your hours:

Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm with 30-minute lunch and two breaks.
Ability to work flexible hours when required is essential.

Your role:

Assembly of steel fuel tanks and bowsers to high standards and specifications Assembly and installation of components; mechanical and electrical fitting Plumbing/pipefitting experience required Electrical knowledge and experience of single and three-phase ancillary systems Testing and inspection of your work to guarantee finished quality
From time to time you may be required to perform other tasks which are not included in the above description, but which will be within your capabilities, and training will always be given where necessary.

Your skills and experience:

Adaptable problem-solver, able to interpret engineering drawings Thorough understanding of mechanical products, functions and operations Working knowledge of mechanical assembly, manufacturing and testing Must be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team to tight deadlines Computer-literate in MS Office, and will need driving licence/own transport Effective communication skills, with awareness of health and safety Creative, analytical and highly self-motivated.
