Mechanical Engineer

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking for a new challenge? Connexus UK are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the Ballymena area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical experience and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of mechanical systems and components. Identify faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime and improve reliability. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operational processes. Provide technical support and advice as needed, both in person and over the phone. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment or systems meet required standards before use.

Essential Criteria:

Solid understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance processes. Previous experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role. Basic knowledge of electrical systems to support mechanical work. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, including the ability to provide technical support to colleagues or clients.
