The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role perfect for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of industrial mechanical systems, with a specific focus on fuel infrastructure (pumps, tanks, and pipework).
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance
: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on fuel pumps, storage tanks, and associated pipework.
Fault Finding:
Diagnose mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for our critical clients.
Project Work
: Assist in the installation of new fuel management systems and mechanical infrastructure.
Compliance
: Ensure all work is carried out to high safety standards (including MoD and industry-specific regulations) and complete necessary documentation accurately.
Travel
: Travel to client sites across Scotland (company vehicle provided).
About You

Essential:
Time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualification (HNC/HND) in Mechanical Engineering.
Full UK Driving License (Essential).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
Desirable
(Training can be provided):
Experience with fuel pumps, hydraulics, or pneumatic systems.
SPA Passport / CSCS Card.
COMPEX or OFTEC certifications.
