Role: Mechanical Engineer - Pipework / Building Services
Salary: 50,000 - 56,000 + package
Location: East London
We are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading building services provider. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in pipework installation and mechanical maintenance across commercial environments.
The Role
You'll carry out a variety of mechanical PPMs, reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and remedial works across multiple sites. After an initial onboarding period, you'll join a 1-in-4 call-out rota.
Typical tasks include:

Mechanical PPM servicing
Air dirt separator servicing
Strainer removal, cleaning & reassembly
Valve exercising
Vessel draining & flushing
Plate heat exchanger flushing
Mechanical fault finding & plant resets during service losses
Completing reports and compliance documentation

What We're Looking For

Mechanical engineer with strong pipework installation experience
Solid background in building services plant
Confident with fault finding and resolving mechanical issues
Able to work independently across commercial sites
Full UK driving licence
Good communication and reporting skills
