Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to support ongoing works across South East Water on a rolling contract basis.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a long-term programme of projects across both clean water and wastewater assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver mechanical engineering solutions across clean and wastewater projects
Support projects from design through installation and commissioning
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet programme and quality targets
Ensure compliance with health & safety and water industry standards
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and project documentation
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer within the water sector
Experience across clean water and wastewater treatment projects
Strong mechanical installation and commissioning knowledge
Willingness to work across multiple sites in the South East
Relevant certifications (CSCS / water industry cards preferred)
Package:
400-450 per day
Rolling contract with long-term potential
Work on a major water framework with strong project continuity
