To provide a comprehensive mechanical engineer service for upcoming contracts in accordance with the relevant safety regulations and departmental procedures. The successful candidate will ensure that the work is completed to an outstanding quality and to relevant technical standards, alongside ensuring that appropriate records and necessary paperwork is completed accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and assembling vehicles according based on the requirements of the company and the client.
Inspecting machines, engines, transmissions, etc. and running diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
Repair or replace broken parts and fix issues relating to the vehicles.
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Work with design/project engineers to develop optimised engineered solutions.
Maintaining the engineering configuration, ensuring the overall design intent and integrity is maintained throughout design lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
Working knowledge of regulations and approved codes of practice.
Proven experience as a mechanical engineer.
Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components.
Demonstrable knowledge of automotive systems and how they work together.
Aptitude in various hand tools and precision measurement tools.
Able to follow established procedures and practices, and read instructions, blueprints, etc.
Able to work to tight deadlines, alongside time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
A highly motivated and confident individual with a strong desire to succeed.
A full British driving licence.
Residence and the right to work in the UK.
A valid passport.
Able to pass a DBS check.
