Formed in 2017, Sanper is a facilities management and general construction company operating throughout London and the south-east.

Founded by two friends with the ambition and vision to create a non-traditional construction company, where they would listen to the operatives, office staff and our clients would be listened to on areas that would help better the company. Sanper would strive to be dynamic enough to change and better themselves and in turn, would create a stronger positive working culture aligned with more efficient processes that collectively organically help with Sanper's targeted trajectory. This is evident over the course of the first 5 years of trading, where Sanper has consistently doubled its turnover year after year.

Sanper can supply project management solutions for small to large projects, fulfil maintenance and repair contracts, as well as offer general construction services to the public and private sectors. Specialising in contracts within security-controlled environments including His Majesty's Prisons, Hospitals, and Educational Establishments.

The role:

Our recent growth and success have created the need to expand our team, and we are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer.

You will be working as a day-to-day reactive mechanical engineer, daily tasks will include, repairing pipework, replacing basins and toilets, working in plant rooms etc. You will be working inside the prison establishment, so you must be comfortable in this environment. You may be required to work elsewhere, we work across the public and private sectors, including education establishments, hospitals, high-security prisons, social housing, etc.

You must also be able to pass a strict vetting process, have a DBS (if you do not already have this, we can assist with getting it), NVQ (Level 3 preferred) and CSCS are desirable.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 CSCS Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence and have your own transport & tools Excellent communication skills Ability to deliver a great quality job on time DBS is essential (if you do not already have this, we can assist with getting it)

You must:

Must have previous experience as a mechanical engineer Speak fluent English Be able to pass background checks and vetting procedures to access prison Be able to operate power tools Be hardworking, punctual and reliable Have a good work ethic Be respectful towards clients and the public Have pride in your work with a good eye for detail Provide full references Adhere to company policies whilst on site

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 200.00-210.00 per day
