Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated
Mechanical Engineer
to join our experienced maintenance team.
The Role
As a
Mechanical Engineer
, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of building systems across our clients' sites. You'll be responsible for:
Carrying out
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and building systems.
Working on HVAC systems, pumps, valves, fan coil units, and other building services equipment.
Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs to maintain uptime and performance.
Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with statutory and company standards.
Collaborating with electrical engineers and site teams to deliver a first-class maintenance service.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 17:00PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks as per the maintenance plan.
Conduct repairs and ensure the proper functioning of allmechanical plant and equipment.
Service air conditioning (AC) and fan coil units (FCU), among other tasks.
Tap Temperature testing
Emergency lighting
Accurately update and maintain maintenance logs.
Report any issues and provide relevant updates promptly.
Qualifications and Experience:
City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2-3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Essential.* Essential: 3-5 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance - Essential.*
