We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in Port Talbot. This role requires flexibility with working hours to meet the demands of the business, and offers a competitive salary package negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving to optimize machinery performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and engineering projects
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry regulations
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability
What We're Looking For:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules and project demands
