Mechanical Engineer

to join our dynamic Operations - Hard FM team. This is a leading role requiring hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of building services, installation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations across the site with minimal supervision. Carry out planned and reactive works on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication. Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and support in fire evacuation responses. Ensure compliance with water treatment standards, including L8 regulations. Participate in the on-call rota and provide cross-functional support to other service lines. Maintain and operate mechanical plant and associated equipment safely and efficiently. Mentor and support maintenance assistants, trainees, and apprentices. Attend required training to develop and maintain competencies, including gaining Authorised/Competent Person status in relevant disciplines (e.g. HVAC, Pressure Systems, F-Gas, Water). Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and building services. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of water hygiene standards (L8), HVAC systems, and pressure systems. Commitment to continuous development and working to the highest standards of safety and compliance. Flexibility to support out-of-hours call-outs and occasional cross-trade tasks.
