Mechanical Engineer - Warwick (Hybrid)

Salary:

We are currently partnering with a forward-thinking engineering consultancy to recruit a

Mechanical Engineer

. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer who enjoys tackling complex engineering challenges across multiple sectors.

The Role

The successful candidate will work in a small, agile team delivering technically challenging projects. Key responsibilities include:

Mechanical system and component design from concept to production using CAD and FEA tools

Analytical work including multi-body systems analysis, mathematical modelling, hand calculations, and simulation

Preparing clear, high-quality reports and presenting solutions to clients

Contributing across multiple sectors including automotive and aerospace

Supporting project delivery and managing supplier interfaces

About You

You are a problem solver who thrives on engineering from first principles. Essential experience includes:

Mechanical design experience, from concept through production

Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent) and simulation tools (FEA, MBD, or similar)

Strong analytical skills, including hand calculations and validation

Desirable experience: chassis/suspension design, MATLAB/Simulink, MSC ADAMS, testing or development experience, and scripting/macros.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace Engineering

Strong background in Maths and Physics

Eligible to work in the UK
