Mechanical EngineerReports to:
Maintenance ManagerHours
: Monday to Friday 10am - 6pmMain activities:
Maintaining, repairing and diagnosing faults to machinery and equipment.
Carrying out both reactive maintenance & planned preventative maintenance to schedule and documentation
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and Food Safety requirements.
Working efficiently and effectively to minimize production down time.
Keeping up to date with the maintenance software system
Continuous improvement and development of the site machinery and control systems.
Establishing good communication and working relationships with the Maintenance team & other departments.
Applicants should possess the following:
Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience within a production environment is desirable.
Effective communication and teamworking skills.
Highly self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.

Experience:
Mechanical engineering: 2 years (preferred)
