Previous experience in similar role
? Recognised apprenticeship/time served in electrical or mechanical engineering
? Strong hand tool skills - bench fitting
? Strong understanding of machining processes
? Strong understanding of engineering material properties
? Strong understanding of engineering design principles
? Strong problem solving, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Continuous Improvement (CI) skills
? Strong understanding of working safely and risk perception
? Strong understanding of reading technical drawings (CAD)
? Experience of working with all types of pumps, motors and rotating equipment
? Experience of working with manufacturing lines
? Experience of working in a fast-paced environment ? Experience of good engineering practices
? Ability to work to tight deadlines ? Ability to work well as part of a team
? Ability to work well independently with a brief from the client or project manager
? Ability to organise sub componentry for any assemblies where required ? Ability to design bespoke solutions for the client or needs of a Project Manager
? Good communication skills as this will be a client facing role
? Good at using Microsoft packages at a basic level to write reports and interact with spreadsheets
? Desired: experience working from MEWPs & Scissor Lifts
? Desired: experience working in a blue chip factory environment
? Desired: IOSH certification
