Mechanical Estimator

The successful Mechanical Estimator will be:

• Reviewing and analysing tender documents, raising requests for information (RFIs) with clients where required.
• Interpreting specifications, drawings, design briefs, and scopes of work.
• Managing supply chain correspondence and enquiries.
• Carrying out take-offs in line with standard estimating conventions.
• Vetting offers from the supply chain to ensure the most viable proposals are included in submissions.
• Conducting site surveys and attending tender review meetings with clients,
• Ensuring timely and accurate submissions of tenders.
• Supporting smooth project handovers to the operations team.

To be successful as the Mechanical Estimator, you must have:

• Proven experience in a similar role with a mechanical contractor (air conditioning preferred).
• Strong ability to estimate costs and timescales accurately while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Be based within a commutable distance of Thurrock, Essex.

Mechanical Estimator will be on a basic salary of up to 70,000, depending on experience + Career Progression + Standard Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Free Parking.
