Job Description

As a mechanical fitter, your job will entail travelling to on-site locations to perform project work, mechanical maintenance and fitting machinery/equipment as required along with other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fit mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform fitting tasks
- Ensure proper alignment and fit of components
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to determine measurements and dimensions
- Inspect finished assemblies for quality and accuracy

Experience:
- Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly role is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Familiarity of conveyors, elevators, bearings and screws

Pay: 29,000.00-42,000.00 per year
