About the Role

We're seeking a proactive, hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join a high-performing maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly, safely, and efficiently-working with cutting-edge machinery and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and production machinery.
  • Execute planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Support engineering solutions that improve process reliability and productivity.
  • Collaborate with operations and third-party contractors to meet performance targets.
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety and quality standards.
  • Contribute to team budgets and development plans.
What We're Looking For
  • Time-served Mechanical Engineer with ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Welding and fabrication skills (desirable).
  • Safety-first mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
