Key responsibilities include mechanical maintenance and installation, welding, and fabrication on a broad range of equipment including hydraulic systems.

Duties include:
Mechanical fitting using the direction of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Work on Precision Parts, Sub-Assemblies and Final Assemblies
Carry out Final Test and Commissioning on Part Completed or Completed Systems
The Mechanical Fitter will raise non-conformance issues
The Mechanical Fitter will be working to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments
Working in a compliant manner to ensure that products are built to the correct technical and quality specifications
The Mechanical Fitter must ensure Health & Safety is always kept to a high standard
Install, test and repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves
Role Requirements:
Must have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality
Using hand tools as well as grinders and drills
Experience across a range of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components
Skill Required:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in using a variety of engineering equipment with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality
Previous experience working with hydraulics
Must hold an Engineering Apprenticeship qualification within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment, or relevant recognised qualification (or extensive industry experience)
