About the Role:

MJM Industrial is actively recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters for long-term work at Heathrow Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a cutting-edge, high-security environment on the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced baggage handling and conveyor systems.

You'll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow's critical infrastructure--keeping systems running efficiently in one of the world's busiest airports.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on large-scale conveyor and baggage handling systems Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise system downtime Supporting the installation of industrial conveyor systems, motors, rollers, and gearboxes Collaborating closely with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to maintain safety and system performance Ensuring all work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial-sized conveyor systems (airport, logistics, or manufacturing environments) Recognised mechanical qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or higher) Valid CSCS Card - essential Flexible to work a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset

Desirable (But Not Essential):

Experience in FMCG, automated warehousing, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments 5-year checkable UK work history to support Airside Pass application
