We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the firemain team completing mechanical maintenance work.
Key Aims and Objectives:
Assist in ensuring all company HSEQ goals are achieved
Effective communication with own company and the client
Implement a continuous improvement philosophy across all Mechanical activities, delivering best practices at all times
Primary Duties:
Execute day-to-day Mechanical activities in accordance with the Projects schedule ensuring all applicable site / Projects safety procedures are fully and properly implemented
Champion visible safety leadership
Be a permit receiver and have good understanding of the detail in the permit / RAMS
Perform tool checks to ensure all tooling is in good working condition prior to its use
Candidates should hold the following Qualifications & Certification:
Essential:
NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
Experience within rotating equipment
CCNSG Safety Passport
Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:
Demonstrate experience in similar role in Oil and Gas Projects
Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times
Knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures
Experienced in team working
Able to interface and interact with Management and Client representatives at all levels
Knowledge of Permit to Work systems
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 22.44 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
