Mobile Mechanical /Fitter Engineer

This position is NOT a software based role

We maintain and repair breakdowns on equipment in commercial transport workshops/buildings throughout London, with a high demand of this work around the area of N, NW and west of London. We are very proud of the quality of work we produce along with the speed of attendance we can give our customers

Mechanical qualifications are essential.

With previous knowledge of any the following list: hydraulics, compressors, pneumatics, pipework, pumps, liquid transfer, welding and LEV will be considered.

The Role:

The job comes with a fully stocked van that you take home each day, with a works mobile phone.

A working day leave home to attend your first site at 07.30 (work controller will issue the first job at the end of the previous day) liaising with the works controller throughout the day for the next jobs and finishing at 16.00.

Typical working days,

Some days you may only be on one site performing PPM's, the next four different sites attending breakdowns. There is no day the same making for a fulfilling job.

Out of hours call out.

We operate a 24 hour call out system for any emergency breakdowns in the sites we work, for attending a call out the engineer will receive 110 plus the applicable overtime hourly rates.

The successful candidate with have a minimum of a week's induction on our sites with an experienced Engineer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 34,000.00-35,000.00 per year
