We currently have vacancies for a proactive and qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our team.

Role



Support mechanical assembly and installation activities in line with company standards. Work as part of a team to fit, assemble, and install mechanical components and systems. Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures. Maintain quality and safety across all tasks and interactions.

Responsibilities



Work to

Wilmott Group procedures

and systems, adhering to

ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001

standards. Follow all

organisational policies and procedures

at all times. Maintain

accurate records

of work completed.

Co-operate and communicate

effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. Comply with all

Health & Safety guidelines

. Wear the

correct PPE

at all times on site. Use

Cranes, Scissor Lifts, and Forklifts

safely and appropriately.

Mechanically fit

components and assemblies in line with technical drawings. Ensure use of

correct fixings, tools, and methods

to meet quality standards. Produce

high-quality workmanship

with attention to detail. Provide

progress updates

and report issues to the

Team Leader

. Ensure compliance with

production schedules and safety management systems

. Remain flexible and adaptable - duties may evolve over time.

Requirements



Proven experience as a

Mechanical Fitter

or in a similar mechanical role. Strong understanding of

health and safety protocols

and mechanical systems. Ability to

read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions

. Skilled in the use of

power tools and lifting equipment

. Excellent

attention to detail

and commitment to quality. Strong

teamwork and communication skills

. Ability to

work independently

and manage workload efficiently. Flexibility to work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
