We currently have vacancies for a proactive and qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our team.
Role
Support mechanical assembly and installation activities in line with company standards. Work as part of a team to fit, assemble, and install mechanical components and systems. Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures. Maintain quality and safety across all tasks and interactions.
Responsibilities
Work to
Wilmott Group procedures
and systems, adhering toISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001
standards. Follow allorganisational policies and procedures
at all times. Maintainaccurate records
of work completed.Co-operate and communicate
effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. Comply with allHealth & Safety guidelines
. Wear thecorrect PPE
at all times on site. UseCranes, Scissor Lifts, and Forklifts
safely and appropriately.Mechanically fit
components and assemblies in line with technical drawings. Ensure use ofcorrect fixings, tools, and methods
to meet quality standards. Producehigh-quality workmanship
with attention to detail. Provideprogress updates
and report issues to theTeam Leader
. Ensure compliance withproduction schedules and safety management systems
. Remain flexible and adaptable - duties may evolve over time.Requirements
Proven experience as a
Mechanical Fitter
or in a similar mechanical role. Strong understanding ofhealth and safety protocols
and mechanical systems. Ability toread and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions
. Skilled in the use ofpower tools and lifting equipment
. Excellentattention to detail
and commitment to quality. Strongteamwork and communication skills
. Ability towork independently
and manage workload efficiently. Flexibility to work to deadlines and adapt to changing prioritiesJob Type: Full-time
Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
