About the Role:

Workshop Fitter role based in the pump department: ability to strip / inspect / repair of pumps, motors and gearbox's. Creation of detailed inspection reports / fault diagnosis / identification of failure mode Decipher OEM drawings, tolerances and spare parts identification Working on, repairing and maintaining a wide range of rotating equipment including Motors, Gearboxes and Pumps working to and complying with the companies health & safety procedures and adhering to company SSW & RAMS. Working in ERIKS engineering facilities both in house and on site at a variety of customer sites in the area, within a busy 24 hour 7 day a week operation supporting strategic customers from a well-equipped workshop environment. To continue to encourage participation, innovation & creativity to improve the working environment

Hours of Work:

Mon - Thurs - 08:30 - 16:30 / Fri - 08:30 - 15:30


39 hours per week


1 hour break

Key Skills, Experience & Requirements:

Level 3 Mechanical / Electrical qualification required Prior experience of Pumps, motors or gearboxes and overhaul Ability to work unassisted and solo when required, whilst maintaining good team ethics Understanding of detailed measurement techniques and working to tolerances High level of health & safety awareness in the workplace on customer sites Flexible attitude to learn new skills and functions within the team & role
