Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The candidate will need to possess a strong mechanical attitude and be proficient in various fabrication and fitting techniques. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components to meet the standard of pig farms. Ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal and plastic structures and components using hand tools and power tools. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine assembly requirements. Conduct basic maths calculations to ensure accurate measurements and fit. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specifications. Must be able to work alongside a team and have a good working relationship. Must have good communication skills regarding other site operatives

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively. Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
