We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. You'll be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and build of mechanical equipment and systems across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and systems from engineering drawings
Routine maintenance and fault-finding
Installation and testing of mechanical systems in a factory/workshop or on-site setting
Working from detailed technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Key Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting
Proven experience in a mechanical fitting role (Manufacturing environment)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence (for site-based work)
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system
A keen attention to detail.
A diligent work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
