Job Description

Pharma Packaging Systems manufacture high quality packaging machinery for the pharmaceutical industry.

A fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical fitter to join our manufacturing team has become available due to continued company expansion.

The ideal candidate would have a positive and enthusiastic manner, along with engineering qualifications or mechanical assembly experience, although this is not essential as training to the right person can be provided.

Generally the job will entail: Assembling and testing machinery, drilling and tapping holes, basic lathe and milling(training can be provided), tuning vibrators and pneumatic assembly.

This job will vary from day to day manufacturing different machinery to the customers needs.

Duties will include:



Mechanical assembly Pneumatic assembly Working to deadlines Testing machinery and identifying issues Meeting agreed deadlines Working as a member of a team Bench fitting Lathe and Milling work (Training can be provided)

Experience



Previous Mechanical fitting or Engineering experience. Mechanically minded. Interested in continued training and improvement through on-the-job learning opportunities.
