Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team in our Peterborough workshop.

Duties will include:

Servicing of Companies and Customers equipment.

Fabrication, including measuring, cutting and welding.

Clean of equipment prior to service/repair.

Ensure understanding and compliance of COSHH regulations.

Use of a wide range of tools & equipment to facilitate the repair of Company machinery.

Manage Companies assets ensuring they are kept in good working order.

Maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop areas, tools and various equipment and assets.

Lifting and moving equipment, loading/off-loading vehicles and using lifting equipment with correct manual handling techniques.

Read and Understand Workshop rules and risk assessment of your work area.

Ideal candidate will have GCSE's in English & Mathematics, with an NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification.

Ideally with a UK Driving License.

We are offering:

24,000 - 29,000 dependent on experience.

28days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
