Monday - Thursday 39 hour working pattern

Perry of Oakley Ltd, a manufacturer of bulk materials handling equipment requires a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join their Assembly & Warehouse department. The company has a strong 70+ year heritage in the agricultural and biomass sectors as well as other allied industries. They have been awarded the SHAPA Exporter of the Year as well as being one of the UK's top 100 SMEs in recent years.

This is an excellent opportunity for employment on a permanent contract in a successful growing manufacturing environment on a 5 day week.

Key Skills

The ideal candidate will be experienced in building mechanical assemblies and be used to physically demanding work. They need to be keen to work, be energetic and willing to take a proactive approach to the requirements of a busy engineering environment. The role will be split between the assembly and warehousing/dispatch departments

Essential skills and experience:

At least 1 years experience in building mechanical assemblies. Experience or willingness to learn warehousing & dispatch skills Have the right attitude: listens to instructions, cares about the quality of their work and is eager to learn. Excellent attention to detail. Able to work to deadlines. Pro-active approach to work. Keen to be part of a team. Willing to learn and develop within the company.

Full-time: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with 30 mins for lunch. Total of 42.5 hours a week. Overtime maybe available.

Must have own transport

Pay: 12.30-13.30 per hour
