Key Responsibilities
Prior experience in an engineering setting and/or familiarity with mechanical maintenance is necessary.
A recognized Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, qualified to NVQ Level 3, C&G equivalent, or a Mechanical Engineering discipline, along with relevant industry experience, is essential.
Compliance with all Health and Safety legislation, Safe Systems of Work, and management of work processes is expected.
You will be required to interpret technical drawings, assemble components, and conduct pressure testing across a range of products, including mechanical assembly, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Your responsibilities will include the assembly and integration of mechanical systems, contributing to low-volume, high-specification platforms.
What We're Looking For:
We seek individuals with hands-on experience, in both fitting and pressure testing.
Support initiatives in lean manufacturing and engage in continuous improvement activities.
Must be physically fit as manual handling is necessary.
Possess a technical mindset with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
Capable of solving problems effectively.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Be confident and able to take initiative independently.
Exhibit good teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
Maintain excellent workmanship standards while adhering to Health and Safety regulations.

We operate a 39 hour work week, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Salary: 15 to 18 per hour subject to experience
