Job Description

We're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our dynamic teams working on major utility and infrastructure projects across the UK. If you're hands-on, technically skilled and safety focused, we want to hear from you.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety across a range of industrial and engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities

  • Fit, assemble, and align mechanical systems from engineering drawings
  • Conduct maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of pumps, motors, valves, and more
  • Lead or support team tasks, share technical expertise, and ensure safety compliance
  • Maintain accurate records and report progress using CMMS or manual logs
What You'll Bring
You will have proven experience in mechanical fitting within utilities or engineering sectors and skilled in using tools, reading drawings and solving complex mechanical issues.
With a strong understanding of safety protocols and teamwork, you will also have relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or fitting (preferred). This role will require travel across the UK, therefore a valid driving licence is essential.
