The vacancy will report directly to the Operations Manager, main duties & responsibilities are detailed below;
Liaising with internal Contracts Engineers for details of works to be carried out on a daily basis
Liaising directly with customers and other contractors on site to ensure all works are carried out safely and efficiently
Installation of swing jibs, gantries, davit sockets, hoists and various lifting equipment on site
Inspection of lifting equipment on site to the required standards
Carrying out site surveys to offer clients a suitable lifting solution
Carrying out works using your own initiative
When on site, following Method Statements/Risk Assessments as specified
Completing dynamic risk assessments on site prior to starting work
Completing daily Job Sheets with all required information
Applying LOLER Regulations to all lifting work carried out
Following all instructions/procedures as issued in Internal Memos
Working away from home when requested to do so
Carry out regular inspections and completing checklists on vans and equipment
Keep work vehicles clean and tidy and ensure equipment is maintained and fit for purpose
Participating in training as required to maintain and further develop your skills and knowledge
Issuing of Test Certificates
Any other reasonable duties as requested by senior personnel
