Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
\xc2\xa345,000 PA (including shift allowance)

Are you a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer seeking an exciting new opportunity? Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting immediate repairs and executing both predictive and preventive maintenance tasks to minimise plant downtime, enhance machine reliability, and optimise operational capacity.
• Operating within a structured framework in accordance with the maintenance schedule to uphold quality, including managing internal and external labour resources.
• Coordinating with manufacturing personnel on matters related to plant release, downtime estimation, plant handovers, and considering alternative or compromise solutions.
• Demonstrating expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements within a maintenance/manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in implementing safe work systems like Lock-Tag-Verify.
• Adapting to a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment.
• Qualifications for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role:
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering field.
• Proficiency in hydraulics systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Experience operating mobile equipment such as E.O.T.C and F.L.T.

The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be capable of working a continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) with options for fixed days or a rotation of days and nights, tailored to the candidate\'s preference.
