Swan Mill Paper Company is a well established UK leader in the manufacture and supply of quality tableware, catering disposables and Christmas crackers produced under the Swantex brand as well as own label.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our highly experienced team at our production site in north Kent.

You will be performing all customary engineering activity during a conventional shift pattern, with great emphasis on machine efficiency and productivity.

Skills required:

Mechanical skills, fault finding, turning, welding, bearing fitting, understanding drawings and identifying parts Computer literate, able to work in a small team and use own initiative Good communication skills
Beneficial - PLC and drives experience and any electrical training.

The successful candidate will have a recognised engineering qualification or have completed an apprenticeship.
