Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair conveyors, packaging systems, and other production equipment to join a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing machinery including conveyors, packaging systems, and production line equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and performing mechanical repairs to minimise downtime.
• Conducting routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supporting equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working closely with production teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all machinery.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities in line with company standards.
• Ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of conveyors, packaging machinery, and other automated equipment.
• Commitment to health & safety best practice.
