The Role

We're looking for a practical, experienced Mechanical / Plumbing Engineer who is confident working

on the tools

in commercial environments. You'll be responsible for

installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and plumbing systems

.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, is solution-focused, and wants to be part of a high-performing team delivering quality work on commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical & pluming systems Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across various commercial sites. Troubleshooting and fault-finding on mechanical/plumbing systems. Working closely with project managers, supervisors, and other engineers to deliver jobs on time and to spec. Reading technical drawings and mechanical layouts. Ensuring all works comply with health and safety standards and site procedures.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience as a Mechanical or Plumbing Engineer working in commercial environments. Strong background working on plant room equipment, pumps, motors, valves, and pipework. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Building Services. Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence. Good understanding of commercial building services and H&S compliance. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
